About Me.
I'm a student with a perpetual curiosity to understand and serve my school, community, and world — primarily through journalism. In hope to hear stories firsthand and share them, I have visited homeless encampments, interviewed a nuclear physicist at San Diego’s DIII-D Fusion Facility, met with a Navy SEAL and his family, and traveled to the San Ysidro border.
Journalism has an unbelievable power to change the world. In the future, I hope to take on this responsibility. Be it a war correspondent in the Middle East or an investigative journalist in Central America, I will always be guided by curiosity and inquiry, and make it my priority to empower my community, hold power to account, maintain transparency, and amplify the voices of the voiceless.
